Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) treatment is a regenerative aesthetic procedure that uses your body’s own blood to promote healing, rejuvenation, and collagen production. The treatment involves drawing a small amount of your blood, which is then processed in a centrifuge to separate the plasma (the liquid part of your blood) that is rich in platelets. These platelets contain growth factors that help stimulate tissue repair and regeneration.  PRP is injected or micro needled into targeted areas of the skin or scalp. PRP treatments are commonly used for a variety of purposes, including:

Microneedling

Microneedling is procedure that uses tiny needles to create temporary micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production which leads to improvements with various skin concerns such as scars, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation.  Popular forms of this treatment include traditional microneedling, microneedling with PRP, and microneedling with exosomes.

Exosomes

Microneedling with exosomes is a cosmetic procedure that combines microneedling with the application of exosomes.  Exosomes are tiny vesicles which contain growth factors and proteins. The goal of this procedure is to improve skin texture and tone, enhance skin rejuvenation, and potentially reduce fine lines and wrinkles. 

Exosomes may also stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, which are crucial for maintaining skin elasticity and firmness.  Exosomes may help reduce downtime after the microneedling procedure.
